When reading this book your imagination begins to think of a cold, dark and lifeless hospital that these patients are being admitted to. The main characters Nurse Ratched and McMurphy are to completely different personalities that projects on my cover design. Nurse Ratched runs her hospital wing like clockwork and the use of a mechanical device delivers her personality whereas the orange signifies life and energy from McMurphy. The cover is designed to make the reader feel and see the coldness of the hospital wing.
