Introduction / Wstęp
The project "Lokal" is a diploma thesis and the result of education at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of Eugeniusz Geppert in Wrocław during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Observing the dynamic development of urban spaces and the increasing land traffic, the problems of transport requiring short delivery times and adapting to the new needs of both small and large companies caught my attention. "Lokal Project" is a response to the demand for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in local transport. In this project, I tried to keep the balance between visual aspects, user experiences, security, and basic technical elements. This approach allowed me to take up the challenge of proposing a comprehensive solution of the problems related to the use of UAV in local transportation.
Analysis / Analiza
Last time we can see growing interest for UAV possibilities . Every year consumers are allowed to buy products with more and more advanced technologies. Now we can get a drone without special authority but they have advanced navigation systems, object tracking, remote options etc. Dynamic evolution of e-commerce has direct effects in faster logistic solutions. Optimization and automatisation of last stage of delivery is the key for smoothens of economic system.

Special influence on the final result had the technical aspects. They have been adjusted thanks to cooperation with a student of the Opole University of Technology , faculty of electrical engineering automatic control and informatics - Pawel Sadkowski.

By the first drawings analyze, I learned about big shape possibilities for mechanical elements required for drone requirements.
Shape / Forma
Final shape has been chosen with central package mounting and low center of gravity. The delivery function directly affected on the idea for empty center of drone.
