LINE OUT is based on the rehabilitation of a passage that connects the Iglesia de la Merced with the courtyard of oranges, located in the Raval neighborhood. This particular building is located right next to the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona), which makes the fluctuation of people a very important aspect.
Our project is configured from a module that brings together three different elements: passage, door, and corner.
The objective of the three pieces is to make the citizen who crosses the passage feel the history of the House of Mercy from the 1930s. A critical, courageous, and forceful piece in the middle of a divided and unstructured neighborhood.

LINE OUT se basa en la rehabilitación de un passage que conecta la Iglesia de la Misericordia con el patio de los naranjos, ubicado en el barrio del Raval. Este particular edificio se encuentra justo al lado del MACBA (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona), lo que hace que la fluctuación de personas sea un aspecto muy importante.
Nuestro proyecto se configura a partir de un módulo que reúne tres elementos diferentes: pasaje, puerta y el rincón.
Las tres piezas tienen como objetivo hacer sentir al ciudadano que cruce el passage, la historia de la Casa de la Misericordia de la década de 1930. Una pieza crítica, valiente y fuerte en medio de un barrio dividido y desestructurado.
