METSÄ STOOL
In collaboration with Geoffrey Riberry
This stool was created from simple drawings. From these drawings a working planning was made to organise the work in a specific order as the different parts required a specific machine or tool. This process was meant to learn different tools and techniques used in the creation of an original finnish wooden furniture piece.
This piece is made of Birch wood which is very common in Finland as it is largely growing in its forests. The same forest inspired us to create this "trunk & branches-shaped" legs.
