2do Aire - A second chance.

"The depletion of a phase is only the beginning of a new one" - 2do Aire.

This project was developed under the idea of giving waste materials a second chance, a new opportunity to turn scraps into beautiful, poetic, and functional pieces. The concept almost feels like an obsession for not wasting or leaving anything un-used. Even though several collections have been developed and many more are planned to be designed, the one presented here was one of the very first in its category; a collection made out of marble scraps.

This collection consists of four different pieces carved out of marble stone. The idea behind the collection was to have small sculptural pieces that could be contemplative and have an unobvious function. We were aiming to design visual elements that can create "unexpected moments of delight in a space". The aesthetics behind this project were conceived by the idea of having visual poetry inside of a room.
