Transport for London - Mobile App for Java ME Phones

I coded the UI :) yes, I was a mobile software engineer before I moved to UX design world. I also did the design for this project.
This was a project in 2007. That time, Nokia N95 was one of the hottest phones in the market, and Java Micro Edition was the most popular programming language for mobile phones.
About the client: Transport for London is the local government body responsible for most aspects of the transport system in Greater London in England. Its role is to implement the transport strategy and to manage transport services across London.

The splash screen. In 2007, this looked like a masterpiece to me (as a software engineer :D )
Quick Count. Users can select his current location, and the app would help users to monitor the trains.
Smart Route. Users can set the originating and destination, and the app would help them to reach the destination.
Flash lite version, with enhanced content, features, and social element added.
Animated navigation. It's not smooth because of the generated gif file.
