The Magic of Egyptian Folktales (bachelor project)
The aim of this thesis is to retell Egyptian folktales in a way that suits a modern audience of both children and adults. This will help Egypt represent its culture in a more appealing way to the misinformed westernized world and will make Egyptians more proud of their heritage and hopefully more ready to embrace the good changes in unhealthy traditions. In addition to this, it could be used as a vehicle of inspiration to Egyptians to tell their own stories, instead of constantly copying from western cultures.
