For this project, I designed an issue of a new literary journal. This journal has a collection of poems that reflect the theme of “connection.” I had to come up with a title for my journal that works with the overall theme. In addition to designing the journal, I had to come up with a mass customization idea for my journal that coincides with the theme. I chose the title Contact, and focused on textures that reflected each poem. For my mass customization, I actually inserted real textures (such as sand paper) throughout the book in place of their images.
