This campaign was designed for the international environment week 2017 to put light on the effects of human interference in the habitats around him. The title 'This is not a camouflage' tries to say that the camouflage is not by choice and they are nearly or already extinct. All the camouflaged animals stand in the heart of cities cos, that is where all the ghosts of those species ended up as many commodities and pride symbols we possess. This is a edge of a cliff time for us and our co-beings and each step should have a sense of co-existence.
The Grévy's zebra, also known as the imperial zebra, is the largest living wild equid and the most threatened of the three species of zebra, the other two being the plains zebra and the mountain zebra. Named after Jules Grévy, it is found in Kenya and Ethiopia. Fewer than 2,500 Grevy's zebras may remain in the wild.
Sudan (1973 – 19 March 2018) was a captive northern white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum cottoni) that lived at the Dvůr Králové Zoo in the Czech Republic from 1975 to 2009 and the rest of his life at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia, Kenya. At the time of his death, he was one of only three living northern white rhinoceroses in the world, and the last known male of his subspecies.
Our marine life is suffocating. Our irresponsibility has taken the life of underwater wonders which we haven't even found yet.
Forty years ago, the bald eagle, our national symbol, was in danger of extinction throughout most of its range. Habitat destruction and degradation, illegal shooting, and the contamination of its food source, due to use of the pesticide DDT, decimated the eagle population.
We may survive. But will suffer.
