KALI
Craft based Project
Craft- Handloom "KOTADORIA"

Concept- The inspiration for the project is "Pathirakali Amman Temple" which is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhadrakali, a form of goddess Kali. Every female has in self the goddess Kali and through our theme "KALI" we are trying to tell that the women in today's worlds need to be kali to slay the modern day demon. The goddess is meant to inspire women to fight evil and prayed to. Kali is both contemporary and futuristic.
On the other hand "KALI" means flower bud which shows softer and delicate side. Flowers also represents fertility and growth. We believe that every women is Kali (Goddess Kali) and Kali (Flower Bud).

Design Intervention- In the collection the white patch on the bust in garment shows the Kali (Flower bud) in women. She is simple, stable, pure and maintains uniformity throughout her life.
The bright colorful patches indicates the hardship where she has to bring out the goddess kali from in herself to fight her problems and fight from the modern day demons.
