This is my personal studio space that I had the privilege of designing from the ground up. The studio is based in The Woodstock Exchange, a building filled with creatives from Google to the famed Superette. The building was and old industrial factory that was recently renovated to house Cape Towns creatives. I drew inspiration from my environment as the building is filled with its former industrial elements. All the pieces within the studio were conceptualized keeping these elements in mind. From the industrial piping to the weathered timber, was locally sourced, salvaged and handmade by myself. This was an incredible project of freedom and design exploration. This endeavor was outside my comfort zone, however the people and experiences that were gathered along the way made it a great success.
