HH 2000 is a fashion project I curated to appreciate the fashion scene that took over the Hiphop Community in the early 2000s. Growing up I used to watch these Hiphop music videos on TV and the one thing that used to amaze me was the fashion and styling in the videos. The baggy jeans, the sneakers, the baseball and basketball jerseys, the jewelry, and the bandanas all became a fashion statement for Hiphop as a music genre, and also as a movement and community. This project was therefore more of a reminiscence to the good ol' ages of Boom Bap Hiphop that are slowly drifting away with the emergence of new subgenres such as Trap.
