Coral stones quarry (Manda Island)
On Manda island (archipelago of Lamu - Kenya), workers buy plots of land to dig and male coral stones bricks. The bricks of 18cms are transported by boat and donkeys to Lamu island to build or renovate luxurious properties.
The island has a school and a few shops, a cinema, as well as a café set up a young woman (Elizabeth Njambunde) and her mother to prepare meals for the workers.
