Sunglass Hut - Times Square
In June 2013 Luxottica, parent company to Sunglass Hut (SGH), enlisted Mood to create branded content for the new SGH flagship store in Times Square. The content, currently in store, was created for their 20' tall LED wall and is a focal point for the store. I was tasked with creating a concept for the content that was true to the SGH brand. The results included a very glamorous and sparkling animated bling wall with paparazzi camera flashes, The Orb (a SGH design element) pushing the bling off the surface of the screen, and the NYC skyline. All of these elements tie to one another, the SGH brand, and the status of the store as a flagship location. In the end the content was very clean and elegant but also elevated and in line with the SGH brand. The six minutes of content was completed on a very short timeline, 3 weeks, and was live for their opening by July 5, 2013. Currently the content is live in the Sunglass Hut Times Square location.
