Chaekgado II
Chaekgado I was originally created as for Lotte Duty Free's golf ball packaging. The piece has a playful and whimsical nature to it, as the viewer is invited to imagine the possible owner of the items laid out on the ground. Although it never saw the light of the day, the use of traditional Chaekgado elements mixed with more modern golf-related objects creates an interesting contrast that allows the viewer to engage with the piece and come up with their own interpretation.
