April 2009: I'm good friends with a guy who used to be the General Manager and Head Designer of an online magic retailer. He's  a very gifted designer and we used to chat a lot over Skype with him showing me the new designs for playing cards and things like that before they ever got seen by the general public. It was pretty cool.

 

When he was looking to re-design the site and forums I asked if I could take a crack at it. Having my own agency back then meant I couldn't give such a massive project the attention it deserved and by the time I'd gotten as far as you see here, he'd already done it himself. 

 

Such is life. Was fun to play around though.
