Zombie Survival Game

Zombie Survival Game

The following are pieces I worked on for a zombie horror survival game. Torque 3D was used as the engine. I did all the modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating in everything you see below (buildings included).

The models below are the characters I created for the game. I also modeled and textured many of the buildings. All of the renders include work created solely by me. The gameplay footage has a collaberation of my own work as well as the rest of the team.

The modeling, rigging, and animating of each spanned across 2 weeks.
All the character models were textured within a week.

Animations consisted of idles, walk, run, attacking while moving, attacking (standing still), and death animations.

Zbrush and Photoshop were used for detailing and texturing. Ambient occlusion maps were created in 3dsMax.
Renders
Quick look at some animations. The pregnant zombie creates an additional enemy to be fought during gameplay (baby zombie).
Gameplay Footage
NOTE: This game was created in 9 weeks using Torque 3d. Due to bugs in the engine certain flaws can be seen such as characters sliding (minimum movement rates cannot be set below 3 without animation interruption), as well as population limits as far as 3d assets. This was with the old version of Torque before they went out of business.
