There is a balance I feel in life that I always strive to uphold. It feels like I'm hovering in mid-air, it's a central force in my soul, like I'm drifting on the calm sea, like I'm being grounded in this world, all that at the same time.
It's like an anchor of my sense of self and I am so grateful to feel this way. Always attached to myself and to what I feel is important in life.
Even if I float away too far sometimes, the connection to this point, this secure feeling, never vanishes. And I sure hope it never does.
It's how I can stay positive in times like these. Can that alone change the world?
No. But it lets me keep hope.
So, to keep this short: it sounds cheesy, but never forget yourself in all this, all the catastrophes and bad things happening. Never forget your mental health and how you're feeling. You're not responsible for saving the world alone.
Only when you're fine, you can help make the people around you and elsewhere in the world feel fine too.
