Student Showcase | Lesson 1 - Defining Multimedia
This week, students learned the basics of Digital Multimedia and how it translates to the world around us. Students learned the differences between Non-Interactive and Interactive multimedia, as well as how the various forms of interactive multimedia presents themselves - whether its a shopping ad online or a simple link embedded into an email.
For the assessment of these concepts, students designed ads with simple modes of interaction and mocked them up on a social feed or website. They also were able to begin getting familiar with basic design skills like layout, color and typography.
