The prompt for this project was to take a Renaissance piece of art and change elements of it to make it fit the modern era. I did the Statue of David, a statue created by Michaelangelo in the year 1501-1504 in Florence, Italy. This marble sculpture left a lot of ability to play with the image, where I added clothes and a watercolor filter to blend the photos together, enabling the flow to be more cohesive. The text for the magazine cover draws your eye around the page, after you see the focal point of the Statue of David.
