Encounter 2020
The final pieces of work you see was for a project based on the word encounter.
I mind-mapped possible subjects and decided to base my work on young peoples encounter with sexualisation on social media.
Why do our children think they need to look this way? Perfect, Filtered, based on unrealistic body image.
I used ink, splatters and make-up to produce texture and mark making, adding a raw, imperfect, personable feel.
