A inquietação em meio a pandemia de Covid-19 e a desvalorização do artista no Brasil sendo o grupo mais prejudicado economicamente durante esse período, fez com que a multiartista Maiwsi Ayana voltar aos tempos de Estilista e reviver sua marca #byMAIA com a coleção capsula "Jens das Cria" pensado a partir de dançarines de funk.
O editorial foi pensando em 'voltar ao inicio' de onde fui criado, minha rua, a rua que me criou e viu crescer, desde brincar descalço no asfalto à consolidar uma carreira na fotografia. O isolamento social me fez retornar as origens onde tudo começou, o primeiro passo foi ali em uma rua da periferia de São Paulo então dali que partirei novamente.
Fui criado em uma rua onde o sol nasce em frente a ela, do auto da favela, iluminando toda sua extensão sem fazer sombra das casas no asfalto por um certo período, esse foi o momento da forma mais simples criar um novo editorial.
The concern in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and the devaluation of the artist in Brazil, being the group most economically damaged during this period, made the multi-artist Maiwsi Ayana go back to the times of Stylist and revive her #byMAIA brand with the capsule collection 'Jens das cria' designed from funk dancers.
The editorial was thinking about 'going back to the beginning' where I was created, my street, the street that created me and saw me grow, from playing barefoot on the asphalt to consolidating a career in photography. Social isolation made me return to the origins where it all started, the first step was there on a street on the outskirts of São Paulo, so from there I will start again. I was created on a street where the sun rises in front of it, from the favela car, illuminating its entire length without shading the houses on the asphalt for a certain period, this was the moment in the simplest way to create a new editorial.
