Following an hour or so of research into the life of a famous graphic designer growing up, I decided that Michael Beirut would be an opportune fit to design my poster around given my interest in his use of typography in both his publications and his logo designs. With this in mind, at the core of this work, I attempted to emulate both the modular approach of Beirut's books while also not straying too far away from the variety of shades of white and black which are also common to see where his name is concerned. The end product consists of Beirut's step ladder of progression in the early parts of his career, as well as what the world regards as his most famous works, which when combined with a quote that encompasses the very nature of where good work comes from, is very educational to any audience.
