I wanted to do something quite simple, and with my folio around dungeons and dragons I decided to stick with the theme and pull out a bunch of my dice. I picked some of the prettiest ones that has the most interesting look to them. From my glow in the dark dice to holographic glitters.
I tried to do something unique with each one, from rolling it through the scene, playing with it in my hand and my most unique way was attaching a fishing line to one dice and using it to manoeuvre it around the scene – almost like flying UFO!

When editing I did notice that the filming had to be quite particular otherwise it can make the loop really hard to edit or not possible. Which lead to my loops not being seamless which makes it look janky. However now that I know it has to be filmed in a really particular way it makes the next one easier to make.

Editing was very picky, if it wasn’t done perfectly then it would mess up the whole thing, the opacity fade of making it go from one scene to another was the hardest part and required the most finesse.
