Our brief was to provide a set of iconic images that reinforced the Brylcreem ideal of enduring smartness and cool, whilst bringing it bang up to date with new ‘Brylcreem Boy’ Kevin Pietersen styled in sharp British menswear. The contradictions of KP’s media and sporting persona led us to the angel/demon concept, which were complimented by the surreal use of cricket kit.
