Two cities which has beautiful history of culture and architecture. When someone says Patan-Modhera, the story of Sun temple & Rani ki vav comes to mind first. At sun temple 108 shrines on the steps of Surya kund is the first thing you witness. It is followed by 52 carved pillars of Sabhamandapa and  the main temple which gives the idea of magnificent history of Modhera. In the other side Rani ki Vav at Patan is a massive stepwell built in sandstone, which is approximately 25m deep with beautiful carving. Patan has culture of making Patola which mesmerise you with the process and details of colours.
