During the summer of 2018, some of the people who were collaborating with Seat’s Digital Design team went to Rücker Lypsa’s facilities to collaborate on an HMI project for two weeks.

We were told to design and develop a concept for a user interface within an electric vehicle and a mobile app that were both involved in EV functionalities and home automation. How we approached this project was entirely up to us.

We must focus on those home control features that are really interesting to control from the car, such as warming up our home before we drive back or receiving ‘empty fridge’ reminders while we drive past a supermarket.
