Impressions of the stories:
"This book is a smooth retelling of an innocent growing up time in 90s’ Bangalore. Though there are some specific references that one may relate to more if belonging to the same time and place, the memories of childhood and 90s India are quite universal. I could relate in specific to the obsession with stationery items, cricket bats, street vendors, small recreational activities like a visit to the ice cream shop in local market, birthday parties with homemade snacks, local bakery shops, and limited exposure to TV and films. The writing is crisp and to the point, without any long deviations. Also liked how it creates a world of characters in school, family and neighborhood. The chapter wise glossary is a great feature too. Happy nostalgia!"
