The Prompt:
Eastern Inspired Americana
The Shadow of Historic Williamsburg and the academic history of William and Mary defined this project. We wanted to blend historic paintings / photography from the incredible archives of Williamsburg with modern overlays inspired by contemporary art to reflect the next generation of Williamsberg residents.
We are the first face of this beautiful college town for many future William and Mary grads, we wanted to impart just a small piece of the history of this incredible location. We made a number of pieces inspired from the wonderful archives of Colonial Williamsburg.
