Covid-19 has canceled another July tradition: 7-Eleven Day - the company's birthday celebration known unofficially as Free Slurpee Day. Instead, 7-Eleven gave it's 33 million reward members credit valued for one free medium Slurpee. Although this is generous, it lacks the physical experience and memories of sharing the frozen drink.
We saw opportunities within the social restraints of Covid-19 to use technology to bring customers an (almost physical) experience!
By creating this event, Slurpee fans can participate in 7-Eleven Day in a way they haven't before.
