Guns, germs and steel (Falca - 2017)
Based on the book Guns, Germs & Steel by Jared Diamond.
This is a project I loved. Falca invited me to direct this adaptation of a chapter of Jared Diamond's famous book. I spent two months just doing research. Trying to go further the typical scientific images, finding an homogeneous style, working with tons of images, medieval codices and discovering illustrators and scientist from the 17th century. Then passed the material to the great Francesca Cattaneo to animate and bring to life all this animals and environments.
