mixed media sculptures
2019-2020
The result of my will to use mixed media while sculpting is a seria of works where subject is depersonaized and dissosiated with common reality.
I was mesmeized by both the fragility and the sharpness threads have compared to solid masses of clay and that fact determined my choice in materials.
A recurring theme of transfixtion and molten forms unifies my works that are not about it’s own making but about images that are memorably strange.
The subject seems ethereal, a dream as much as a reality which is surrounded by emptiness.

Inspiratin for this one was a metaphor from a fairytale story by a tribe called Tozhu (The Tozhu Tuvans) .
There was a line comparing human body with its veins and circulating blood to a river's streams and spreading brooks full of waters.
There was a line comparing human body with its veins and circulating blood to a river's streams and spreading brooks full of waters.
Both are coming rounds and rounds under skin and underground revealing fractality and self-repetition of nature.
