Expanded and redesigned to seat twenty guests, the original concept focused on balancing complex audiovisual needs with sleek, modern design features. Wood panels and faux leather wallcovering surround main monitor on the feature wall. A translucent film with a Washington DC map was planned for a large wall of windows to create privacy while allowing light to permeate.
A cherry veneer and marble wet bar was added as an amenity.
Ultimately, the decision was made to depart from the traditional navy blue and lighten up the space by moving to more neutral finishes. Multiple light levels can be acheived with the switching options in place. The ceiling feature includes dimmable task lights as well as ambient cove lighting.The completed board room was furnished with the client's selected furniture.
