'curve hanger' เป็นหนึ่งใน curve collection ที่ออกแบบให้กับแบรนด์ 'karv' ซึ่งเป็นแบรนด์ที่เน้นการผลิตจากเครื่อง cnc เป็นหลัก โดยใช้ไม้อัดเพราะเป็นวัสดุที่ตอบโจทย์กับการผลิตจาก cnc ทั้งเรื่องความแข็งแรงและสวยงามได้มากที่สุด ทำให้ตัว curve hanger ออกมามีรูปร่างโค้งเว้าและมีลวดลายเป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่การผลิตและวัสดุแบบอื่นไม่สามารถทำได้หรือทำได้ยาก กระบวนการคิดจึงเน้นไปที่การออกแบบ 'ข้อต่อ' แบบต่างๆ บนตัวชิ้นงาน ให้สามารถตัดได้ด้วยเทคนิคที่เรียบง่าย ไม่ซับซ้อน และต้องสามารถผลิตในจำนวนมาก ส่วนการประกอบใช้เพียงแค่กาวและแม่แรงในการอัดประกอบเท่านั้น เพื่อเป็นการช่วยลดต้นทุนด้านการผลิตได้อีกทางหนึ่ง

'curve hanger' is one of the products in the curve collection that was designed for a new furniture brand 'karv'. the brand focuses on manufacturing products by cnc machines where we choose plywood because of its strength and applicability to the machines. for these reasons, we can cut the plywood into many pieces with various curve shapes at once which might not be practical in other production methods. we design the 'joints' and all the parts so that they can be cut by a simple technique and in high quantities. the product assembly requires only gluing and clamping which can reduce the production costs.
