supercar2go - as smart as unexpected
While technology is indispensable, it also causes unstoppable social acceleration and an incredible compression of time. The everyday automobile becomes a “digital device” that needs to comply with this doom loop, possibly losing its native values of (real) freedom, emotion and escape from daily routine.
Why shouldn’t smart go against the stream, renew those values and enable the urbanite to briefly quit everyday ballast? supercar2go democratizes “digital detox” by redefining the egocentric values of “supercars” for a society that regards sharing and experiencing higher than owning goods.
aesthetics
Simple, geometric solids and soft, bonbon-like volumes meet in a funky “fun device” that is not a mean of self-expression anymore. The main body is simple and open, its provoking silhouette clearly underlines the sitting position. Big, hot-rod inspired rear wheels firmly press against the low front fascia.
Thanks to full digital automation, supercar2go navigates to its users by itself. It however converts to an “analogue vacuum” as soon as they step in.
soft tridion & geforce tilt technology
The seats are part of the free-hanging “soft tridion”, a 3d-printed, textile-like cell. Its connection through flexible straps allows for a tilt technology that plays with centrifugal forces and creates an extreme contrast to everyday autonomous rides. The assistance systems serve as an initial copilot to facilitate familiarization and are able to restore “habitual” virtuality in case of emergency.
play instinct & community
Through active use, passengers collect points that enable personalization and rewards. Periodic community and racing events help create a team spirit among members.
service
As the journey ends, supercar2go autonomously proceeds towards servicing at a nearby hub: self-cleaning and self-healing materials as well as wireless charging and simple exchange of components simplify the process towards another escape from everyday ballast.
