Castilla la Mancha wines,
This was a difficult brief because we had to create everything, starting with the brand identity to the advertising concept and finally the campaign. The idea also had to be simple and clear enough to be understood abroad.
We realised that nobody actually knew where Castilla la Mancha is, but that everybody knows who Don Quixote is.
Cervanteās book begins with a famous sentence: āA place in La Mancha whose name I donāt dare to rememberā. We used this line as the inspiration for our campaign:
Wines from a place in La Mancha you will dare to remember. Wines from Don Quixoteās Spain.
We also had to create an important event, where the leading wine producers of the world would come to Castilla La Mancha. A fantastic opportunity for our brand to be known. As part of the invitation we produced a limited edition book that resembled an old copy of Don Quixote. But inside there was a bottle of Castilla La Mancha wine.
