Kat's Media & More started because I love the idea of mixing different media together to make a brand stand out ... from graphic design to typography to site design to social media integration. I wanted my logo (and header by default) to be a 3-d style and a bit different than the traditional logo. While the text can stand by itself I wanted to pull it together within a frame of reference - the tablet.
I'll be including more of the process of putting the design together on my site, but for now I'm just looking to improve the visual quailty.
The tablet, while a more sophisticated design, just utilizes a smart object to drop in my logo. I wanted to use a tablet (after using my original laptop) to emphasis my Wordpress site design leanings toward more responsive design. I added texture and shadow to both the object and the layers because I didn't want a white background.
I've considered a simplified version of this that would be a flattened design but haven't worked on it yet
I'd love any and all suggestions and feedback on this - a little nervous as it's the first thing I've uploaded here to Behance! :D
