The perception of the environment is a core value of living things today. Different from the "multiple organisms" of living things, existing materials and material assembly methods are relatively independent material properties and characteristics, and the project tries to bridge this gap.The ability to obtain reversible physical changes by mixing different structures of the same material to obtain different properties of the medium. 

The project attempts to change the relationship between shoes and feet from <object and creature> to <creature and creature>, extract from nature and creature, and finally become nature.

Skin shrivel
In earlier studies, the common explanation was that keratin absorbs water when it comes in contact with water, causing the skin to swell and create a larger surface area, forcing the skin to shrink.

Skin wrinkling is also associated with the nervous system.The increased firing of neurons causes blood vessels to constrict, reducing the amount of fluid under the skin.The loss of fluid causes a decrease in tension, which causes the skin to shrink.

Principle logic of formulation
The reversible water-absorbing shrinkage of the mixed materials is used to achieve the purpose of water contact shrinkage. The inner consumables are prepared by mixing lignin and polyacetic acid. The shrinkage shape is controlled by the change of surface pore size, so as to achieve the goal of sensing and reacting to the environment.

Material performance and testing
PolyJet can print a variety of materials, including digital ABS, transparent materials, opaque materials, high temperature materials, polypropylene materials, rubber-like materials, biocompatible materials.These materials have different preset mechanical combinations, and their stiffness, opacity, and color vary with geometric, structural, and chemical properties.

This multi-layer polymer injection technology can integrate multiple layers of different biocompatible materials to achieve the multi-organic project objectives.
