MArch Year I - Initial Development

My architectonic language was developed from the stories and variations of Little Red Riding Hood. Each variation has a specific path, however there are key points where the different stories start to branch off.
Folklorists note that fairy tales originally were never meant for children's ears alone. They started out as fireside stories, told by adults to adult audiences. However the narratives address the anxieties and fantasies of childhood. What results from these fairy takes is a narrative with two distinct layers: a sanitised childhood layer and a much darker extreme underlying meaning told to adults. Story tellers consciously and subconsciously manipulate the story depending on the response and nature of the audience.
