Museum of the Far North

The illustrations below are made to order for the museum complex of the Shuryshkarsky region of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The museum will be located in the village of Muzhi, this is the Far North.

These illustrations depict the path of local people from the earliest times to the present day.The museum management wanted to find a compromise between a modern approach and the wall ornaments of ancient civilizations. I drew attention to the narrative style of Egyptian frescoes, as well as the national embroidery of the local Khantian tribes - each symbol carries a deep meaning, so I had to study several scientific works on this topic and consult with the research staff of the museum.
