This campaign was devolped to encourage students to participate in research and research activities being offered by the university. Also the campaign would market the new research department, ComPesquisa, responsible for housing all research activities and projects in Communication.
For that we developed a website that brought the basic information about this new department and about what it means to be a scientist and how to get involved.
To promote the website and as one of the essencial pieces of the campaign was the promo video. Something much more inspirational, so the students could see science much differently. Here's the video:
Another video was made to encourage students and give them a few tips on first writting a scientific paper.
Now, the real close contact was done on Facebook. Through the Page in Facebook, we interacted with students, promoted the videos and other scientific events and activities hosted during the year. The page got a high engagement and many students participated in the events. The initial campaign was fulfilled, but the project continues and specially in the beginning of the next year will have a significant impact on the amount of students involved in research projects.
