Hailing from different corners of Redhill, these characters embody the spectrum between the city’s perverted drug scene and its dignified art landscape. Influenced by wild desire and the notion of the spiritual plane, they are inextricably linked in a single tale.
I wanted to find a way of lifting Redhill off the page. So, I created three distinct elevations: a Cityscape view from Mystic Lake, Anodostown, and the Underbelly. Each have been equipped with its own colour palette, depending on the mood set in particular scenes.
After recognizing the importance of graphic design in filmmaking, I decided to put my Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills to good use by designing various logograms. The purpose of these pieces are to aid production designers and inject authenticity into the story's universe. Most of these pieces are directly mentioned in the script.
