In 2017 and 2019 I created new artwork of old unused costume concepts. In 2018 I designed two new costumes for my then-current project - this page compiles nine designs, with descriptions for each.

2017:

Green Doll - ''This is based on a scrapped costume idea from my early bauhaus designs. I still don't know what I'd use it for.''

Cube Dada - ''This is a new drawing of what my original black dada nearly ended up looking like. Thank god it didn't - I do sorta like it though.''

Red Dancer - ''Another revisit. This design uses a much more minimal, dancer focused body type, with a red spherical mask on top. Scrapped like the green headed figure, but is unique in its own way.''

2018:

Merciful Sage / Decider - The Merciful sage - the first new figure of the 'Brainchild' film representing Earth and its natural resources.

Brainchild - ''I'm planning a new video - about the state of the earth and what we have done as a race. This is a design for a figure/spirit which will represent humans.''

Triangular Man - From 2014. This figure was constructed as a large wall-mounted relief but hasn't been drawn in 2D before.

2019:

White Dada - The rarely used white dada was designed alongside the first version of the black dada. When I developed the black design for further characters and a costume, the white one was altered slightly but never got the spotlight. It does feature in 2 of the 3 dada films however, and I like its more robotic looking design.

Bauhaus Figure - This is the most recent costume I have designed - on commutes mostly. I’ve returned to Bauhaus theatre for recent sketches, and put together this concept using a few unused elements of past designs. Scroll for alt photos. I’d love to make a big Bauhaus mask again.

Movement Dada - This orange dada was designed for the final video in my original trilogy of dada films - movement and pose - it appeared on the poster. It didn’t actually feature in the film however, so it was slightly false advertising!
