Drag Society is a celebrity drag queen curated subscription box delivered to your doorstep.
Each box is approved by a featured celebrity drag queen with themed products. The first ever box is none other than season one RuPaul's Drag Race alumni Ongina, who also appeared in the All Stars Season Five. The Second box is Mayhem Miller the queen of the party, from season 10, Holislay Spectacular, Secret Celebrity Drag Race, and also All Stars Season Five. The third curated box features Detox a unforgettable queen from season 5 and All Stars Season Two.
For this project I worked with the director to design products and packaging that fit into the Drag Society brand for their first and second subscription boxes. All items were to maintain the celebrity guest's personality, aesthetic, and memorable moments throughout the products while incorporating the Drag Society guidelines. The third subscription box included items that did not have packaging design and only logo/signature placement. I designed the packaging and used infamous quotes by Detox to illustrate the packaging. Throughout the project I also had the pleasure to partner up with graphic and surface designer Fernanda Faggioni. We both came up with the stylized illustrations for the collectible pins. Fernanda illustrated and designed the Ongina tote pattern, the Mayhem fan illustration, and the Mayhem Christmas outfit illustrations on the wrapping paper.
