The chorus for it came to me in a dream and I groggily recorded a voice memo for it at like 3 AM. When I went to write it, I understood that it is the way I would approach relationship issues, now that I am more emotionally mature than I was in my late teens and early twenties; that putting pride aside and being vulnerable with your partner, giving them the benefit of the doubt and being honest about your needs and wants is the best route to resolving issues; that it's natural to drift a little sometimes if you aren't putting in the daily effort to stay connected, but the connection can be strengthened again if love and desire are still there, says Archie.
