Hi guys, today we are going straight to the good stuff. This is the newly release RS150R Street Spec Ceramic Cylinder Block Kit, and today, I'm gonna let you know three features why this ceramic block is certainly the choice of champions.
First feature, it's material, being made of aluminium and ceramic coated. Being much lighter in weight to increase the overall power to rate ratio, aluminium cylinder block conducts heat three times faster than the conventional cast iron. Pulling away heat from the combustion chamber when the engine is accelerating hard, decreasing the risk of engine damage and detonation. New advance technology ceramic materials which consist of zirconia, yttria, magnesia, alumina and berylia, which it's layers are distributed evenly increases it's melting point to 2800 Celsius. Making it highly heat resistant, reduces friction, wear and tear and attracts retains oil to improve piston and piston ring lubrication. Making it a daily and race use weapon.
Second feature, a thicker reinforced rib. The purpose of the reinforced rib is to support the overall structure of the cylinder block. The reinforced rib, which was designed and produced is 8mm thick compared to other aftermarket cylinder blocks with the same bore size that measures a mere 2mm to 3mm in thickness. Note, the standard original cylinder block has no reinforced rib. Meaning, an increase overall strength of the cylinder structure against demanding circumstances.
Third feature, an added water jacket volume. As we know, a larger water jacket compartment contributes to a more efficient overall cooling system. In this case, 5mm of added water jacket storage compartment is added to this cylinder block to increase it's cooling mechanism. Enabling it to perform constantly through high RPM's.
