Los Angeles Waste is a clothing company that I started myself in 2010. I worked a low income job at the time and had little resources. I started using dollar cans of spray paint and creating stencils all by hand without a computer. I had some success and sparked an interest in my community of friends and fellow artists.
With that success came determination to take it further and further, with little help I bought my first computer and illustrator and photoshop and went to work. Tinkering and toying around with no help. I gained a mentor who would critique my work and give me pointers. i have kept the DIY attitude and used all my own money to fund everything. I thoroughly enjoy learning and making mistakes and learning from them. I learned Screen printing, art direction, Illustrator, Photoshop, Photography and styling through Los Angeles Waste.
