Angel Blue Concert through the Metropolitan Opera

An experienced executive, Fernando Mesa of New Jersey has worked as the CTO of MarkLogic, a software company working in the big data industry. In addition, Fernando Mesa is also a supporter of the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. One way the Metropolitan Opera has been surviving during current closures is through their On Demand and Live in Concert events which allow viewers to watch live performances from the comfort of their own homes.

As part of the “Met Stars Live in Concert” series, the Metropolitan Opera provides several live shows from well-known operatic performers to be available to stream. Those interested simply purchase a ticket and then tune in during the event to watch it live. Afterwards, the video is still available to ticket holders for twelve days.

One such performance is on December 19th and features well known American Operatic performer Angel Blue. She is a soprano who featured last season as tile character Bess in “Porgy and Bess”. She originally debuted at the Metropolitan Opera in 2017 and has starred in productions form many other opera houses such as the English National Opera, Oper Frankfurt, and LA Opera.
