Companies and employees faced new challenges once COVID-19 virus arrived to human life. This forced them to work in ways they never or few times had thought like working at home everyday and full time. With this investigation we wanted to resolve some problems that people was facing in their jobs while worked at home or far away from their office.



Problems / Opportunity

We formulated different hypotheses:
- Employees arrive at home and at work tired cause of long time spent on transportation being less productive at work.
- Employees don't feel accompaniment from their leaders, team work and from the whole company.
- Employees want to be measured by objetives.


Research

Observation:
We did observation around us, inside our home to check the behavior of people whose live with us and were working at home.

Surveys:
We created a survey to know the feelings of the employees who were working at home. How do they feel since they started to work at home and what challenges they were having.



Research Findings

- 42.2% of respondents say that in the company where they work haven't had anything for organizational 
76.5% of respondents say what they most have liked of working at home is not having to transport
- 29% of respondents say that they don't have a suitable space to work
- 58.8% of respondents say that they feel that work more time than before.
- 70.6% of respondents say that they have more distractions.

Besides we found in our observation than people have more distractions but also they work more time than before and some of them don't use suitable implements for working all the day.




Customer journey map

We found others challenges to solve for Natalia and Camilo, some of them were the missing of control from the company toward their employees focusing on the difficult to realise about their feelings, their health and work space. We also noticed that the distractions were one of the more important things to take in account and the same time the aspect of working more hours of which established.


Ideation

We did a brainstorming and then we did convergene of the ideas considering if the idea was scalable, innovative, functional and uncomplicated. We decided explore the idea of a plataform where employees are the center of this. They would complete his information by themselves on an dynamic test, a plataform which help them to finish their work at time that they have to finish and dont do extra work without need it. A plataform which notificate their active pauses connected with their schedule and calendar.


Benchmarking

We investigate softwares or tools which were focused on health and security for employees and we found that there are several plataforms but these are focused in people who are responsible for the safety and health at work of employees and they have to save documents of the employees. These are plataforms focused on office work. They also have poor design, and poor usability.
