Asked to create a cultural platform of my own, design the logo, and its launching campain.
Concept
Duende is a cultural platform, aiming to promote artists with phisical or mental disabilities, helping them discover the mysterious power of art to deeply move a person regardless of their conditions.
Activities: Painting workshops, arts and crafts, open mic, life testimonies, accompanied by disabled artists and painters.
Logo concept / construction
"Duende" - pronounced duendae - is a Spanish term meaning the power of art that deeply moves a person.
To form the logo, three elements were mixed; the paint palette, the wheelchair icon and the D letter.
The colors
The colors used are pastel blue, yellow and green, symbolizing happiness and positivity, reflecting the positive attitude that most disabled people live with, regardless of their disabilities.
